"My whoopee cushion of doom will blast you to atoms!"
— Sylvester's statuette of Super Fun Guy in Satellite of Love

Super Fun Guy[]

Super Fun Guy is Sylvester's favorite comic book. His costume consists of a pinwheel hat, a pair of spring googly eye glasses, a blue spandex bodysuit, with yellow underwear, cape, and boots that have springs on the bottom. His boots are lined on the top with red and he has a red utility belt. In his utility belt is a rubber chicken, a whoopee cushion, a paddleball, a tiny windmill, and a couple of other random toys that are actually weapons.

The Super Fun Guy character is used in many episodes, with statuettes, comic books, decorations and posters, in the background or up front. However, there was none so blatant as during season two's episode Super Fun Guys. In order to reach a building where the bad guys were holding a nuclear bomb, they had to get through a film crew that was in the middle of filming the "Super Fun Guy" movie, so all of them had to dress in costumes of the characters. Walter as Super Fun Guy, Paige as Zany Zoe, Happy as Patty Prankenstein, Toby as The Giggler, and Cabe as Whimsical Boy. Walter made a point to tell Cabe he wanted Homeland to pay double their rates because he felt ridiculous dressed up, and he hates feeling ridiculous.
