Synopsis[]
Team Scorpion goes into a biodome designed for Mars to fix its power source, only to discover the biodome is failing and the two scientists inside are in bad health. Danger increases when the power source explodes, and they are trapped inside. Walter begins remembering his time in Richard Elia's space capsule.
Plot[]
Paige and Walter discuss the very dull itinerary for Toby’s bachelor party. Cabe picks up Sly a party bus filled with music and disco lights with a stripper pole in the middle that Sly points out is sticky! Meanwhile, Toby has all of his boxes ready to go. Happy doesn’t want all of his yard sale junk in her apartment.
The team gets their next job, rescuing two scientists from a malfunctioning biodome for Mars. Walter picks up on a strange smell that makes him remember when he dreamed of Paige on a space capsule. Walter, Toby and Happy find the two scientists who hate one another. They fight like cats and dogs as the team tries to inform them that they need to get the electricity going. They also tell the male scientist that they are concerned for his health, as he is still wearing a bathrobe, hasn’t shaven and is spitting toothpaste in a bucket.
Toby heads to the botany room where he sees that the female scientist is hoarding all of the power for her plants. Sal, the other scientist yells from his side of the biodome. He needs more power for his reactor. It blows, sending Happy and Walter running. Walter stands up and asks Happy what happened to him in the rocket. He is having flashbacks of Paige.
The blast has blocked the door of the botany room. Soil has filled in to the ceiling. The female scientist is feeling sick. She is malnourished. Happy and Walter dig on the other side of the door to get to Toby. Paige sees a view of the biodome after Ralph hacks into its cameras with the owner by his side. She is angry that it looks like an abandon amusement park.
Toby soaks the soil on the other side as they continue to dig. The water solidifies the soil. They break it apart. Toby and the scientist crawl out. The dome has reached 110 degrees and Ralph can’t get the main door open. It’s only a matter of time before they fry to death.
Cabe and Sly arrive outside the biodome to see smoke from the waste area. Walter begins to see fog making its way inside.
They work to seal all of the vents. Walter uses an unsafe mask to climb to the top of the dome and fill it with mud. He is close to finishing the job when a memory of Paige telling him she loved him in space comes back. He loses his footing and dangles in the air. He demands to know the truth from Paige as they all listen in. Toby and Happy set up two mattresses to cushion his landing. The dome has reached 120 degrees. Happy finishes mudding the vent while Walter hangs.
Sly and Cabe work to get the door open. Cabe wants to make some Molotov cocktails. Walter drops safely. He demands to know what happened on the rocket. The female scientist passes out. They need to get water into her before she dies. They rig an injector from the water system. It works. She comes to. The squabbling scientists apologize to one another.
Walter and Toby stir up a concoction to create a bomb while Sly and Cabe are on the other side with the heat to cause an explosion to open the door. It works. They all get out okay. A door hinge from the explosion hit the party bus. Walter is still upset. He poured his heart out on the rocket, and everyone knew. He is mad at Paige. Sly tells him that he kissed his hand when he thought he was kissing Paige.
The team gets back to the warehouse. The guys listen to music and eat pretzels. They are upset that the bachelor party plans fell through. Happy brings a large, wrapped gift. She doesn’t want to be like the dome dwellers. Happy had Toby’s Toby Dick painting framed.
Ralph tries to make sense of Walter’s hallucinations to Paige. It makes her think. Paige has a mathemagician show up for the party. They blow the man’s mind with their math skills. He leaves. He didn’t come to be mocked. Walter asks Paige to talk. He apologizes for getting angry. He tells her that he appreciates all of the help that she gave him. He understands humans now. She has done her job so he has found her new employment with double the pay. Paige tells him to go to hell. She leaves. The team is angry. They all leave. Walter stands there sad and alone.
